Activity - *Questions and answers on the passage*
Objectives~
(01) To develop listening, speaking and reading skills of the students. (02) To give appropriate answers of asking questions on the given passage.
(03) To develop the questioning skill. (04) To speak/read with proper stress, intonation, pace, expression and pauses.
(05) To read accurately.
(06) To read to get information. and for comprehend.
(07) To read to acquire new vocabulary OR To read to enrich vocabulary.*
Procedure <>
(01) Write (familiar) passage on the board from the textbook or from the reference materials.
(02) Write some simple questions on the slip of paper regarding/related to given passage.
(03) Say to each one to read the given passage carefully. Or Practice the reading passage two or three times or as per their needs.
(04) Form a circle of students.
(05) Put slip of papers in the middle of circle.
(06) Say anyone student from the circle to pick up any one slip of paper, open it and read the question.
(07) Now ask anyone student from the circle to look at the board and answer the asking question. Say him/ har to find/show the answer in the given passage.
(08) Give opportunity two other/ all students to ask questions and answer it in the circle. OR Give opportunity to one by one in the circle to ask question and others to answer it.

(03) Students read the given passage aloud fluently, accurately, individually and independently in the group.
(04) Students read the passage with increasing eye-span to increase the reading speed.
