Activity - *An appropriate response.*
Objectives-
(01) To find anappropriate response for the given(asking) questions.
(02) To develop the searching power.
(03) To develop the listening and reading skills.*
Procedure~
(01) Divide the class into two halves A and B. OR (Form a pair of two.) (02) Write some simple and familiar questions on chit/slip of paper related/regarding to learning passage and fold it.
(03) Say to the both group/both partner to read the questions given in the chit with understanding and carefully.
(04) Write answers of the given questions randomly on the bord. OR (Say to the both group/ pair to open your textbook, page number..... and read the 1st/2nd/......rd, .....th passage carefully or passage number...)
(05) Ask anyone from the groups of A or B/pair to pick up anyone slip of paper, open it and read the question carefully.
(06) Now say to the other group/partner to find an appropriate response for the asking question.
(07) If other group/partner is able to find an appropriate response for the given question, declare one point. (08) Now, give opportunity to other group/partner to pick up the chit, read the question and ask other group/partner to response appropriately.
(09) Give equal opportunity to the boath group/ partner to ask questions and appropriate responses.
(10) Declare the winner who has more points on the board.
Learning outcomes -
(01) Students listen to the sound and other feature of spoken English.
(02) Student develop their questioning skill.
(03) Students listen to respond appropriately and to get the central idea.
(04) Students listen to find the specific information.
(05) Students listen to understand the attitude and intention of the speaker.
(06) Students listen to increase their vocabulary and understanding power.
(07) Students speak to get things done.
(08) Students read the given passage with understanding and carefully. (09) Students read to improve pronunciation, stress and intonation.
(10) Students read for pleasure and information.
(11) Students read silently and fluently.
(12) Students read the given text/passage appropriately, accurately & coherently.*
