English language game.

Friends, Students like to learn with friendly conversations, through fun, through doing things. So language games acquire special significance. Language games inject liveliness into a lesson, break monotony. Language game create & sustain students interest, encourage students to participate in learning process, Boost students confidence & motivation.

          So, Today I conducted *English language games* for std 3rd and 4th. Here are several language games such as.

*Name of games*~(01) Listen carefully and show me the given cards. for ex. *B, O, M, f, R, y, T.......*

(02) Look at this card and show me a matching card. for ex.-  show me matching card for *M*, *Y*.....

(03) Look at this capital letter and show the small letter. For ex. show the small letter for *capital letter *N*,

(04) Look at this small letter and show the *capital letter* for ex. *y*. show me capital letter for *y*.

(05) Form pairs of two. Listen carefully and *form the words using your cards* for ex. *Show, us,........*

(06) Form pairs of two, three,..... now form any two, three, four, five,........ names of your choice using your own prepared cards. for ex. *Rohan, Samiksha,........*

(07) Form pairs and try to form/make a small sentences of your choice using given/your cards. for ex. *Come here.*

(08) Listen carefully. I will say the name of letter and you have to write it on board or you have to write it on your new cards. Ready? Let's start. Write capital letter *B, K, G, L, E......* Now turn your card over the side. now write small letter for the capital letter which you have written. for ex. for *B*~ *b*

(09) Show me the letter that have ........ sound. for ex.- sound ड, म, अ, र, अॅ, .....etc.

(10) Tell the sound of letter......  for ex.- f, n, o, p, .........etc.

*Expected learning outcomes*~

(01) Students listen the sound,                    rhythm of spoken English.
(02) Students respond appropriately. (03) Students listen carefully to get.            the central ideas.
(04) Students listen to enrich their              vocabulary.
(05)  Students follow instruction,                 order, request & commands.               and act accordingly.
(06) Students speak with proper.                stress, intonation and pace.
(07) Students speak confidently,                  fluently & appropriately.
(08) Students speak to express their.          opinions, likes & dislikes,                      gratitude.
(09) Students develop their proper.            writing habits.
(10) Students write neatly & legibly. (11) Students read for pleasure &              acquiring information.
(12) Students read with increasing.            eye-span to improve reading              skill.
(13) Students read aloud to
        improve pronunciation, stress.            & intonation.
(14) Students participate with.                    interest in various language.                games.
(15) Students interact among.                      themselves.
(16) Students identify different.                  shapes, letters & words.
(17) Students enjoy their writing.
