Short Descriptions.

Activity~ *Short descriptions.*
(Open ended)

Objectives~
(01) To use the short descriptions for the given sentences.
(02) To develop the listening'speaking  and reading skills.
(03) To develop the thinking power.*

Procedure~

(01) Make available some uncomplete sentence strips.
(02) Form two equal groups: A and B (03) Call anyone student from the group: A or B.
(04) Ask him/her to close your eyes and pick up any one strip.
(05) Ask him/her to open your eyes and read the sentence loudly. for ex. *Our class monitor is...........*
(06) Now, ask the other/ next/ second group to use meaningful word of your choice in the blank place to make/complete the meaningful sentence. (Ask them to remember to make use of your sense.) for ex. *clever or helpful or nice or bold or strict*
(07) Now ask any one student from the same group to read the given sentence. such as- *Our class monitor is clever.* Now ask to the other group and continue it.
(08) After giving equal opportunity to the both group, declare the winner those group who will have more points on the board.

(10) Students understand the attitude and intention of the teacher.
(11) Students develop their vocabulary.
(12) Students read with increasing eye-span to increase reading speed. (13) Students read for pleasure and information.
(14) Student develop the habit for independent thought.*
